ある田舎の駅の近く

履物屋さんと傘屋さんの
おばあちゃんは仲良しでした

それぞれの連れ合いに先立たれて
子どもたちも自立しました

おばあちゃんたちに残されたのは
客の少ないこの店だけ

それでも2人はしあわせでした
話し相手がそばにいたから

履物屋さんのおばあちゃんが
微笑みながら亡くなりました

傘屋さんのおばあちゃんも
後を追うように亡くなりました

それぞれの家族が片付けた時
店の奥を見て驚きました

履物屋さんの押し入れには
傘がいっぱいありました
