“Hello Hello”, on that road leading home, where we chased after the flowing clouds
That light which shone gently on our faces, does it shine where you are?
“Hello Hello”, reflected on the water surface where we played and chased small fish
That light which shone gently on our smiles, does it shine where you are?

In this city where I was born, there are people I’ve met
People who have taught me all of the most important things

The sun’s warmth gently surrounding me
The swaying time shining on my heart
That day, I run about with friends, smiling, sometimes crying
Those days become part of me, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps

“Hello Hello”, the place we discovered that day as a comfortable breeze blew
At the end of the byway, a place that belongs to just us, is it still there now?

In that city, the people around me were always smiling
“Take care, bon voyage” as they sent me off with smiles

The sun’s warmth gently surrounding me
Always unchanging scenery, smile! Smile! Smile!
The dirt and wind grasped in that tiny palm that day
Become part of me now, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps

From that slope where the sea is visible, the city below us appeared tiny
Just the comfortable breeze and lots of smiles
Surely that is happiness
Surely it’ll always be there
As long as there’s you and the sun’s warmth
That’s surely where I’ll return to

If I grow tired and stop, and forget those smiling faces
You’re always there waiting, tomorrow and the day after too
A place where I can say “I’m home!”, what will we talk about next?
Thinking about that, I walk on again

If there’s so much baggage, just throw it, forget it
As long as there’s one important thing right here, that’s enough
The sun’s warmth, the smiles, the sea and mountains with you
All quietly whispered to me, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps

Lalala, both hands full of words of “thank you”
Lalala, wait a little, until the time I return
Always the sun’s warmth there

夢 (Yume) – Dreams

I first took notice of who I am
When I was about to surpass myself
In the midst of everyday, worrying and regretting
When I made a wrong move

Crashing into a wall, making a huge turn
Looking back on those days
More than anyone else, hey

I can see a road stretching far
As I’m standing here with numerous wounds
Because such a wide road exists
I can go to meet tomorrow’s me

When comparing with someone
I measured up against myself
In the midst of those days, I looked hard at the opposite side
Though I had no answer

I’m anxious about these days
Full of misconstrued measures
Of my own doing

The one who wishes for so many things
Is not those around me, but me myself
I’ll make the self I want to be
The opponent I can’t lose to isn’t anyone else

The things that accumulate within mistakes
The things that deepen amid anxiety
All of it help to broaden
The self I am now
So I’m not afraid of anything
As I hope for such a tomorrow

Someday, surely, in order to reach it
Even if I stumble now, I’ll get up again
And then, at the end of the wide road
All my selves are smiling as they wait

No matter how far away, they’re surely waiting
It’s too soon to give up now
No matter what the goal, if I don’t take
The first step, nothing will begin

In order to take notice of who I am
I’ll surpass that limit again and again
And then, I’ll meet him
Not anyone else, but in order to be me
