Mummy made Nanakusa porridge for breakfast today ( ´▽`)
With this, I’ll remain healthy this year too ☆
And then, because Tamai-san kept telling me that she was “bored, bored-!” (laugh)
We went to visit a shrine, a cafe and a bookstore together (。-∀-)
And then, we bought
a gourmet book!! ( ̄▽ ̄)
We plan to use this book as reference and try out some restaurants recommended in it (。-∀-)
And then, it’s a little late, but these photos were from Kouhaku!!
We wore costumes inspired by the Kinkakuji, and idol costumes underneath that (*´ω`*)
I was so nervous…about the quick change in costumes-!
And then and then, we ran into Korokke-san and Hayashi Osamu-sensei,
who took photos with us (*゜▽゜*)
Me: “Sensei! Please coach me in my studies!!!”
Hayashi-sensei: “Definitely not!!!” (immediate answer)– (lol)
He might have rejected me, but his reply still made me so happy (*゜▽゜*)
Thank you!! (laugh)
As was our custom last year,
we welcomed the new year together at the backstage area in NHK, where we formed a circle and jumped! together about 3 minutes before we were to go on standby. This year, Maa-kun rushed in about 15 seconds earlier and we did it together!!!
So we welcomed the year together with Maa-kun ( ´▽`)

1. Nanakusa porridge is a salty rice gruel and vegetable dish eaten at the beginning of each year to ward off illness and disaster. Nanakusa refers to the seven plants of spring, which include Japanese parsley, shepherd’s purse, cottonweed, chickweed, Japanese nipplewort, turnip and rockcress.
2. The Kinkakuji or Golden Pavilion is the most eyecatching detail in the Kinkakuji garden complex, a Zen Buddhist attraction in Kyoto, Japan. It is a three-story building of which the top two stories are covered with pure gold leaf.
3. Korokke is a Japanese comedian, imitation artist and singer. (in 3rd image)
4. Hayashi Osamu is a Japanese (National Language) teacher at Toshin High School, a cram school for university entrance exams. He is the most famous teacher in Japan at the moment after he acted in a TV commercial for Toshin High School in 2011. (in 4th image)
5. Maa-kun is the nickname for baseball player Tanaka Masahiro, a professional baseball starting pitcher for the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles of Nippon Professional Baseball, and a fan of Momoclo.

My 2014
started off on a calm~ note!
Our first live this year
was the 3Bjr. live “Ore no Fujii”
held at Maebashi Green Dome!!
What’s with that title?! (laugh)
But to form groups with girls we don’t usually meet
and perform a live together
felt like gathering with relatives over the new year, and it was fun ^ ^
We don’t get many chances to see the other groups,
so being able to watch them perform gave us some motivation.
As for me.
I’ve graduated from 3Bjr.!
So I’m now a 3rd year high school student…
When I had my first 3B live,
we held a graduation for Asuka Rin~
At that time, I thought that my own graduation
was still a long time off, but in the blink of an eye,
I’ve become the oldest member of 3B (´・з・`)
And Momoclo
is also the most senior group in 3B…
The number of juniors is growing so fast,
I need to become a senior they can respect!
We all need to work even harder!
And so, 2014 opens on a great note ^ ^
Satomi-chan, Shizune-chan, and Nao-chan
were my fellow graduates
So glad that there were other people of my age~
Shiorin

1. Asuka Rin, Ookubo Satomi, Nagao Shizune and Aoyama Nao are members of Stardust promotion.

Looking at everyone’s comments and drawings
gave me so much energy to start off my new year de-ariyasu-
Thank you! (*^Θ^*)
For students, a new semester is starting!!
I’m sure there are lots of people stressing out now
over tests and entrance exams
But remember that all nights will turn into dawn
So stay steady ☆ and work hard day by day!!
I’ll be supporting you (*`・Θ・´*)
To everyone who are not students,
look for a tomorrow that is uniquely yours
A tomorrow that shines just a little brighter than today ☆
I had a meal and a long chat with friends,
a really enjoyable and normal day
and now I’m fully charged
I’ll work hard at work de-ariyasu (*`・Θ・´*)
Ahh, by the way
everyone who’s turning 20 will have their coming-of-age ceremony soon, right?!
It’s a little early, but congrats~~~
I’ll be having my own coming-of-age ceremony next year too,
and I’m looking forward to that even now de-ariyasu
Furisode ♪ Furisode ♪
I’ve gotten lots of chances recently to dress in furisode at work,
and I wore a wonderful one for 3B too
But what colour and pattern of furisode should I wear for my coming-of-age ceremony?
I’m so excited thinking about it now!
Ah~ It’s just one more year, which will come soon enough (*’-’).:*:゜☆
Next year,
I’ll go through my coming-of-age ceremony to become a woman (both emotionally and physically)
I’ll start working hard now
so that I can look amazing on that day!
——
Notes:
1. A furisode is a style of kimono distinguishable by its long sleeves. Furisode are the most formal style of kimono worn by unmarried women in Japan.
2. Coming-of-age ceremonies in Japan marks of one’s coming-of-age, which reflects both the expanded rights but also increased responsibilities expected of new adults. Many women celebrate this day by wearing furisode.

Taka-san has been smiling so much yesterday that her face feels out of shape today! (laugh)
Yesterday, I went to meet up with an old friend!
We went to this grilled meat restaurant owned by my friend’s acquiantance, and we chatted lots with the staff and the restaurant chief. We had so much laughs and ate lots, and had a really happy time!
Connecting with people is just so important, and it gives me power (^-^)
Then, we went for karaoke, where we sang and danced and laughed, it was such a scene!
We had so much fun, so I was really reluctant to say goodbye, but I’m glad to know that the time spent apart didn’t spoil our friendship one bit (^-^)
So I will really treasure this once-in-a-lifetime outing!
I went to the Enoshima Shrine today, and just reached home (^-^)
I finally had the chance to do my shrine visit!
And I also met lots of people!
And we laughed together so much!
And my fortune for this year is “great blessings”!!
I was so happy as I walked along the road that I crashed into a utility pole! (laugh)
It was so painful and I was so embarrassed. I could only laugh at myself! (laugh)
In short, today was filled with laughter! (laugh)
I hope to spend tomorrow in smiles too!

Year of the horse, year of the horse~ ヽ(´▽`)/♪
Today, I’ve finally
escaped from the 2013 mood. (laugh)
I went for my first shrine visit this year, then to Granny’s place,
then to watch movies, and shopping with friends
My break was so full of activities ( ´艸`)
I’ll dash through 2014 too-!!!
We had our first live of the year on the 4th!!
“Ore no Fujii 2014” was held at Maebashi Green Dome
It’s been a year since the last 3B live!!
Because all the different groups were gathered together,
even lessons were really exciting and fun ヽ(´▽`)/
We got to watch part of the live too,
and it made us all ready and excited for our own turn (*゜▽゜*)
And I’m the type who gets really nervous before lives, which makes my throat super dry. So I always drink too much water and have to visit the bathroom right before showtime. (laugh)
And because I’ll always be in full costume by then, it’s always extra work for my stylists to help me undress
Sorry, Kome-chan (laugh)
Thanks to her, I always feel refreshed before showtime! (laugh)
After the live, Towa-chan from Takoyaki Rainbow came over to visit me,
and said this to me while in tears, “I really respect Kanako-chan, and I want to become a great center just like you!”!
That made me really happy!!
Even though I’m totally not that great
It made me want to work even harder in the future, so I’ll need to buck up!!
So that the girl who respects me will never lose that feeling (^^)
Towa-chan is currently in 8th grade,
about the same age as myself when I first joined Momoclo, but I totally don’t remember anything about my 8th grade life. Oh well, I’ve always been this way (lol)
I’m sure she’ll become a better leader than me (´ω`)
In other news, I went jogging around the venue together with Ebichuu-chan before the show… (laugh)
I’m really happy to have got to talk to so many of them ( ´▽`)
Oh. Congrats to Fujii-san on his wedding (。-∀-)
Kawakami-san used to lie to me that Fujii-san’s wife is a foreigner
I wish you happiness–!!!!!!
Goodnight (´ω`)☆

For this year… It’s a little late
but my family finally did our first shrine visit of the New Year 😉🎵
2 bows, 2 claps, 1 bow
I prayed for lots of things…
(Oh! For everyone too *^^*)
And drew my fortune ← Half-blessings
It’s really true that without doing all these
it doesn’t feel like the new year has started at all (laugh)
Now I feel refreshed (*・Θ-*)
But~
there’s just so many happy things, so many that they’re overflowing
that I wished to tell everyone about since long long ago- 😍❤
Actually~ For the 3B event “Ore no Fujii” on 4 January,
I formed up the unit “Tenkasu Trio” limited to just that concert
with Ebichuu’s Hinata and Syachihoko’s Chiyu.
We also performed an original song 😍🎵❤
The song’s name is
“Eien no Trinity” 🎵
It was a totally new experience for me,
so I was nervous, in a different way from when I’m with Momoclo,
like my heart was beating so hard that it would burst!!
It was tough (*Θ*;)
But it was great when we sang and it felt wonderful! 😍❤ ✨
Hinata and Chiyu also gave me lots of encouragement,
and it made me want to work even harder.
I hope that we can do this together again ✨✨
Someday, surely ☆ It’ll be great if it can happen! (*^^*)
And so,
that was our first live for the year ✋
To spend such an enjoyable time
with everyone in 3B,
and everyone who came down to Maebashi,
and everyone who watched the LV around Japan,
I was in the best spirits 🎵
Somehow…
I just feel that this year will be the best year yet ☆
Aiming higher than ever
I’ll need to work hard de-ariyasu
…So,
this is something that’s often done at the beginning of a year…
It’s the time
when everyone starts off something new, either with work or with their lives, right?
Let’s all work hard together- (*^Θ^*)
Ah! By the way, an extra story…
On our way home from our shrine visit,
I had my first shopping trip- 👣
But almost everything nice was sold out,
and only the leftover goods are still remaining in the stores ← I’m exaggerating slightly ^^;
But in that midst,
I managed to dig around and uncover some things,
and I bought a wallet, boots and muffler in the end-
Fufu! ♪
This year… I’ll show you girl power— ❤
Alright,
I don’t have any nice punchlines to end off this entry… (lol)
Please support me- 😉✋

Evening-wireless! (^-^)
This is Taka-san!
Everyone, how did you spend your New Year’s day?
For Taka-san- After ust, she went to pay respects to her ancestors at the family tomb!
We said our thanks for 2013, and prayed for progress in 2014 (^-^)
And then, I talked so much with the priest d(^_^o)
I told him lots about what we did and felt about GOUNN, and he listened patiently to me!
All the people at Mum’s temple seems to have watched Kouhaku too! And they told me that it was great-! (^-^)
So my New Year was soon filled with warm feelings!
Then, we went around to Granny’s house, then some relatives’ house for greetings ♪
It was fun to talk with everyone about stuff-!
And then and then, on our way home, we went to Donki for the first time this year! (laugh)
It was a super happy New Year’s day ☆
Ah!
I still need to draw my fortune!
I’ll come back to report on that, so please wait (≧∇≦)
——
Notes:
1. In the first sentence, Reni joined the words “good evening (konbanwa)” with “wireless (waiyaresu)” in a pun.
2. Donki refers to Don Quijote, a discount chain store that carries a wide range of products, from basic groceries to electronics to clothing. The store is well known in Japan and is often referred to by its shortened name Donki. Distinctly, Don Quijote tends to keep very late hours for Japanese retailing (to 3 or 5am, or even 24 hours) and it packs its goods from ceiling to floor in a distinct merchandising strategy encouraging the customer to “discover treasure” and possibly return to the store to find a remembered item.

I’ll go to meet you…wherever you may be
Feelings drifting down endlessly
I’ll go to meet you…to the legend
Of pure white snow I drew out with you
Though you no longer take the local train along Sobu Line
My heart still races as I head to the crossing where the signal changes
Unable to hold back my racing hot heartbeat, I start running
A little more, just a little, to the promised place
I’ll go to meet you…wherever you may be
Feelings drifting down endlessly
Your season is too dazzling, the passion of pure white snow
A dream we can’t see alone is the miracle we arrived at
Your photo in the corner of the room smiles at me
Even though we’re apart, I’m not lonely
Because a time will come when it all melts
Even in the hours when I’m left alone and warm
Your voice rings from the bottom of my heart
Come to meet me! In this night
I can’t live without you
Your warmth which I hang on to
Is my ticket straight to you
One more layer of dreams, a melody of connected hearts
A future without footprints in my heart, carved with sparkle
I can’t imagine a world without you
Can we experience “destiny” together?
Come to meet me! In this night
I can’t live without you
Your warmth which I hang on to
Is my ticket straight to you
I’ll go to meet you…wherever you may be
Feelings drifting down endlessly
Your season is too dazzling, the passion of pure white snow
A dream we can’t see alone is the miracle we’re going to draw out
