After debuting throughout the US last year, Jin tells us that he misses Japan.

Akanishi Jin: Japan is great! Our rice is frankly delicious.

Reporter: So how did you spend your New Year’s?

Jin: I met up with Nishikido Ryo-chan (from Kanjani 8)

Reporter: Oh, I see.

Jin: I also met Yamashita on a TV programme.

He also has this to say about Yamashita Tomohisa, a close friend of his who had left NEWS and gone solo.

Jin: I really support him both as a friend and as an artiste.

Reporter: When you say support, will the two of you work together in the future?

Jin: I think it will be interesting if we can do that.
